WDIY, a nonprofit public radio and NPR affiliate, broadcasts from Pennsylvania’s Lehigh Valley, where it has served the region since 1995. Covering eastern Pennsylvania and western New Jersey, the station delivers nationally recognized NPR shows such as *Morning Edition* and *All Things Considered*, alongside locally crafted programs that delve into the Lehigh Valley’s political, economic, and cultural landscape.

Beyond news and public affairs, WDIY offers a diverse musical lineup, featuring classical, folk, jazz, blues, indie rock, and world music—genres rarely found together on other local stations. The station’s programming reflects a commitment to presenting a broad, thought-provoking selection of sounds for its audience.

At the heart of WDIY’s operations is its community-driven structure, powered by more than 120 volunteers, including over 90 on-air hosts who contribute year-round. Since 1999, the station’s Youth Media Program has also equipped over 200 high school students with skills in audio production, radio writing, and journalism.

Licensed to the Lehigh Valley Community Broadcasters Association, Inc., a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit, WDIY relies on a strong base of listener support to sustain its mission.
